Pm me the seller's name, and I'll see if it isnt anyone I've dealt with before.(ie I've got their email adr)

Most of the guys will indicate with their listings whether they ship o/seas or not tho.+ you should be able to ask a question from the seller on that particular listing.

I have bought through this site several time without any problems (I live in Canada)

Each seller is different though, so you need to check:

- What form of payment do they accept. Very few South Africans have PayPal. Most want Electronic Funds Transfer which is a hassle, and some accept Credit Cards. I only deal with sellers that acce[t credit cards.
- Do they ship internationally?
- If they do, ask them them to give you a fixed quote to mail to your address. Use a minimum of Registered Mail, and preferably Insured.

I don't know why you are having problems asking sellers questions. You need to create an account, and that allows you to ask the seller questions through the BidOrBuy system, and not through direct email

BidOrBuy is very similar to eBay, except that in many cases you will be the only bidder on an item.

For whatever reason BidorBuy wouldn't let the message go through. I get an error message: "Your ability to bid or buy is being reviewed. See more information. Ask GPOEL (4401 ) a Question

Please Note: Trying to contact the seller directly and thereby bypassing the bidorbuy system, is against bidorbuy Terms and Conditions. bidorbuy monitors the Questions and Answers on items and reserves the right to take appropriate action if a violation of terms is detected.

I'm not sure what your problem is on that site.

If you rather want to buy from a US source, try:

http://www.theswatshop.com/page14.htm

Just make sure that you understand all of the site rules

Might be easier, thanks. Sometimes a big headache to make international purchases.

I want to get in touch with the seller GPOEL in Mossel Bay. He seems to have a ton of old SADF stuff.

Anyone have his e-mail? Thanks.

Just read this:

Very severe indictment of combat readiness and training in the SANDF.

‘Medal’ soldier transferred: report
October 13 2012 at 11:15am
By SAPA

INDEPENDENT NEWSPAPERS
The John Chard decoration is awarded for distinguished service.

Durban -
The incumbent new commander of the Durban Light Infantry, accused of wearing a dead soldier's medals to a parade, has been moved to another unit, Beeld newspaper reported on Saturday.
Lt-Col Sibusiso Amos Mbuyazi, 42, has been transferred pending the outcome of an investigation against him, according to the report.
Mbuyazi earlier this week labelled the incident a malicious prank by his subordinates, claiming it was part of a smear campaign to discredit him.
He reportedly wore the unit's deceased's chaplain's Southern Cross and Pro Patria medals and his John Chard Decoration for impeccable, continuous service when he received his rank at a Pretoria parade on August 22.
Mbuyazi told Beeld, however, that his subordinates had pinned the medals to his uniform. - Sapa

So this LtCol , 42 years of age , happily wore the John Chard Decoration for 20 years of service , provided you have received the John Chard medal for another minimum 10 years of service.

He must have joined when he was 12

Would have thought a LtCol would know his own decorations on his uniform , but alas it was not even his....

What a disgrace, and then he still blames someone else.

Transferring him is going to solve his disrespectful actions?
