I'm currently hating my parts guy. A month ago I bought a salvage power door-lock actuator for my Dodge truck - when it got here it was the wrong part. Almost two weeks ago I sent the guy the pic below - and he STILL hasn't got me the right one...nor will he ever call me back with shipping info - he's been tap dancing for a full week now.



The beauty of it is that since the actuator has the door latch built in... my door won't close without it...so the truck is off the road. It's as crippling a psychological blow as having erectile dysfunction, but I can't get ***** pills for it.

Updated for added hatred - I got finally got the right @#$% part yesterday, and put it in last night, and all worked perfectly.

I had recovered my mojo because absolutely nothing on my truck was broken. Until I went to wash it just now and discovered the AC is broke. WTF. All it did was sit in the garage for 3 weeks. I think either the switch, fuse or maybe the fan clutch is broke because the clutch never engages on the compressor. Sucks any way I cut it.

I'm currently hating the fact that my wife has been a total bitch for the last three weeks. My mom is visiting from Guatemala, and she's being a bitch to her, too. I've repeatedly asked her what the problem is, and she denies there is one.
As far as I'm concerned, she can take off and go back to Japan if she wants. The only problem is our son. There's no way I will let him go.

Visiting family can be stressful. Might just have to grin and bear it until your mum goes home, then you can find out what the story is.

I had to make this post so I wouldn't be Satanic anymore! (by the way, isn't it 3 sixes, just to be precise?)

I've been doing everything I can to placate her: I limit myself to one beer per evening (when she's around!), limit my time with my buddies, stay off the computer (esp. MP.net!) when my kid needs me to play with him, and try to talk to her as much as possible, but to no avail.

It has been about nine months since she moved to the US from Japan, and I think she's at the point where the novelty of being in a new country has worn off, and she misses home. She went back for six weeks in February/March, and did not want to come back!
