I don't know what that means, but it sounds frustrating.
When downloading big files, don't use browser download managers, as a rule they don't know to deal with the connection problem (not necessarily your connection to internet, maybe a sever problem or bad routing) during the download. Use FlashGet app or old good wget utility if you work on Linux/Mac.
