Members of the Military Police Present Their Work to the Conference Participants
On Wednesday, 10 September, the participants of the international regional conference attended a dynamic presentation of the 17th Military Police Battalion, which took place at the Franc Rozman Stane Military Post. Members of the unit demonstrated counter-terrorism activities carried out by the Military Police within their statutory powers. The dynamic presentation included the procedures regarding the protection of persons, identification of explosive ordnance and their disposal, and a demonstration of martial arts, which constitute an essential part of the performance of military police tasks. During the static part of the presentation, the conference participants could see the equipment and weapons used by the Military Police during their work.

Patria and Elbit
Today local news reports that the test performed in Israel, with the Elbit's remote weapon stations for the Cobra 4x4 deal, were very bad. This influences the Patria deal also, since the first vehicle should get to the army this month (by contract).
The news also say that is very likely the deal (AMV and Cobra?) will get an annex for new weapon stations (konsberg/rafael).
