Oh boy oh boy! Now we can all be Randy Shugart!![]()
More than anything Im curious how much better the TM version will be than the custom designs. Most important above all the other factors is parts support and availability, something that TM, CA, and ICS do, while others do not.
The mechbox is the biggest question. Hopefully it will not the the dud full auto design of the customs out there. Likely a modded ak style with the enclosed motor system.
What length of barrel would be another logical question. Im not sure what the overall inner barrel length will be, but Im sure it will be close to a G3/SG1's length.
Lastly, will this new model be real steel parts friendly like the AK's? Where everything just about swaps or are we looking at the colt family where modding a real part is just another exercise to install it?
Like i have seen in other threads about this. Where does it say TM?
Me and my friends though about getting one off of Airsoft Club, we split it 3 ways and its only $220 with a 400fps upgrade. We'll see about it though.
My mini-14 can kick yur BB gun's ass any day!![]()

I saw something while wondering across the internet that said that TM was indeed the origin at that poster. It was at one of those "salon" deals.
So, later this year we can all be sure, but for now Im going on what I had seen in print and what I have heard.

Unfortunately your Mini-14 wouldn't be allowed on an Airsoft field, so that is a moot point. You might want to check out this thread:Originally Posted by Sir Zach of R.

I am thinking of saving up for the Airsoft Club M14. The TM is going to be all plastic, and isnt out until December (What I've heard). The AC one is $420, and $18.50 per extra magazine. If I had $420 to spend, I would definatly buy the AC. Then again, TM will have it for cheaper with the latest and greatest gears, springs, motor, etc. So its a tough decision.
AC M14 is crap, it doesnt have the correct dimensions, its not full metal, outerbarrel is made of plastic....so on. Waste of money.
an M14 would interesting. Another good weapon for a Vietnam look.
