I should have clarified. A little specificity would be nice.

Oh yeah, I'm talking 50-150 or so price range, too.

(I'm also curious if anyone thinks other Casio lines besides G-shock are worthwhile)

like i said Timex Ironman it's very cheap, about 50 $ (depending on the model,i think it's one that costs about 100) and it's very good for training/jogging

Yeah, the newer G-Shocks are way too busy. The ones I listed are about as basic as can be, and still perfect.
If you really want an Invicta try shopnbc.com...Careful on ebay though. some fakes and older models and seconds.

    And check out Watch Geeks

Thanks man! I've been saving for a Seiko diver's, but this Invicta is about 1/6 the price and looks the same.

They're much pricier, and also not for those with thin wrists. I'm yet to see one that doesn't look big on me. Not sure if this matters or is a problem, but the price would definitely hinder him.

Casio F-91W - £10.50 ($15.18) - or any of the other basic digital models that Casio offer (all below £15 [$22]). Hell, you can buy another one to use as a spare and still have lots of change!

Couldn't have said it better. I wonder how that came about... Maybe Osama and his minions were sitting Indian-Style in the caves on Amazon looking for good deals on watches in bulk.

Can anyone explain the differences between the Citizen and Seiko diver watches of the SKX007/173/NY2300 type design. I'd like to know what's worth the money, which manufacturer is better, which will last longer, which is made for the international/Japanese/American market, just random tidbits of information. I'm looking into finally saddling up to get one, but I just want a few opinions.

Haha. I am a member there. I found one comparing the Seikos, but only the Seikos, and it doesn't give any user reviews or what's worth the money more. Just facts. And then I found nothing on the Citizens. I even asked a question about it, and got nothing.

I bought myself this when i returned from my deployment.
I have been wanting a Tag for 10+ years and this particular watch for a few yrs.
It will serve as my good watch whilst my 10yr old g-shock will continue on with daily duties.
