Interesting. I may grab one of those Maratacs to replace the stock band on a Chase Durer Blackhawk that got ate up during a couple deployments.

It's been 4 years since I bought it and posted it here, still alive and ticking, lost of scratches though as I use it as my daily watch:

Hi, They made in Lithuania. Some time ago they bought russian factory/brand and now making watches. i heard only positive feedback's. Their website is out-of-date but you can find them on facebook. New modells rock.

You are far from alone. I hate that magnifyer and their general design. Also, everyone I know who has had says they don't really keep good time.

I was thinking about that Vostok (it looks cool) but I have read, that it isn't very reliable.

    Default watches

    hey guys,

since i saw quite alot of ppl in the "what's your latest purchase" thread buy watches, i thought it'd be interesting to start a thread about watches. i haven't been wearin one for probably more than a decade and decided it'd be a good time to buy one now.

    i'm not lookin for an ultra-expensive watch, i don't want a "hipster"-watch. i think i'm mainly looking for a military-style watch for around (max. 250 / 350 $). any suggestions?

Casio G Shock watches are great. I have the mudman and have no complaints. It's a good digital watch for under the $200 price range.
