Burqas in Iran? erm... that is Afghanistan, the toughest Islamic dress code in Iran is the black Chador which is only used by old ppl in Iran... it reminds me of a story that my friend read on readers digest... it was talking about a woman dreaming about Iranian terrorists in white turbans and AKs... seriously though why would an American write a book/article or make a movie/TV program about country or ppl that he/she has no clue about?... if stereotyping is not racism then what is?
No, I mean forget this whole idea. If you really want to start writing decent stuff, then think of something that's somewhat plausible, interesting, and won't induce uncontrollable laughter due to its absurdity (i.e. no ridiculous ice princesses). Furthermore, start with short stories that are simple and don't involve a whole lot of action. Focus on dialogue. Wait until you can really author before you write an epic.
I was thinking of doing a remake of the illiad, only this time replacing everybody with ice princesses, and th emain character with a delta force operator.
