very intersting post.... it's a last modern war with 2 belligerant with "same" equal army...i think the israeli are better strateges....why this war was easy win and a last in lebanon is not so easy....sorry for my english.

Wasn't such an easy win, but yeah the last time (maybe Falklands?) two states fought a "conventional" war that wasn't lopsided (Gulf War.) Frankly we would have been just as happy to have had a lopsided advantage.
