I'm not so sure, but isn't it a Crane Stock?

All right there. Saves me the time having to rewrite it too, having already done it once.

They are the same thing. LMT is the company that mass-produces them.

The sling point is a Dieter CQD sling attachment point.
The handguard in the pic is a KAC RIS (not RAS if you're fanatical about details)
The aimpoint mount is a copy of the PRI aimpoint mount and is actually made by Wilcox industries.

If you look closely, the upper receiver has a "C" forge mark for Colt. All the Colt's I've seen have this- I don't have a LMT receiver in front of me so I don't know what forge marking they have.

Note that this example is built on an old M16A1 lower..

The Mk18s are build on a lot of cut down Colts. they chop the barrel to 10.5, enlarge the gas port, change out the extractor spring and added a one piece gas ring, but later there are Mk18 or CQB-R with LMT's much improved 10.5 inch upper.

Not to sure about how you got the Wilcox ind. deal, you are right that Wilcox riped off the PRI aimpoint mount but on my Crane catalog, the PRI mount is actualy listed instead of the Wilcox.

I'm fairly confident that the Wilcox mount is the one seen on most of the more popular internet pics out there and was an issue mount for some time- If Crane is now using the PRI mount so much the better.

Probably the best thing would be for you to send me the crane .pdf so I have something to browse this weekend.

No, it has filtered down to the regular US Navy and US Coast Guard for use in VBSS missions. (Visit, Board, Search, & Seizure)

Judging from the NSWC-Crane solicitations that I've seen, the recent Mk 18 Mod 0, both as individual upper receivers and complete weapons, are being factory built by Colt.
