    Default Blackhawk Saw Gunner Rig

Does anyone have one of these or has anyone known anyone that had one? I got myself one for hiking and survival tasks becuas of the huge pockets to carry the kit i need...I was wondering of anyone has any input from first hand experience on this rig.

the ISSAK from what i have heard from a lot of trusted guys is that it is anexceptional rig, I would have bought it, had it not been so much, and if I had a SAW (it can accomodate other weapons too though....) If you want it, get it cause that price is amazing.

only catch though is that I do not have first hand experiance, sorry.

    Np Blarney,

Thanks for the reply..I have already ordered it as of Fri..At that price i had to give it a try and since they are discontinuing them that was another reason to grab one up.... I was just wondering what some others might have to say regarding it..Though i think i should have grabbed the rifleman version but the SAW version with the huge pouches will come in much handier treking through the swamps and forests

Its BH so you get the life time garuntee..Only thing that makes me wonder is if they stop making them how can they replace it should it get busted....

good part about this rig is that its made in US, not in Vietnam. Youll enjoy it, but I hope you have a SAW, though some stitching and extra stuff will help, this rig is well worth it.

haha, it's a lot of money, but in kit terms, that's a damn good buy.

Most people waist 140$ a month w/o even knowing it on fast food....buy feel good junk food at the grocery store..that DVD they have to have...over price latest fashions....impulse buying at the store..smoking..payperview..or just being in a hurry all the time and blowing down the autobahn sucking up gas for no reason...IMO 140$ on a quality peice of kit is money well spent..

I'm picking up their RIFLEMAN version soon.

NSW uses the same setup for riverine operations, etc blah blah. London Bridge Trading makes the same thing too.

I know you can get it for a great price. But I feel that it has too much to it. I prefer to modify my kit, and this one isn't that kind of kit. It's manely a SEAL set up, and those from my experience don't work for anything else.

I need something that helps my ass float.... new training site.. lotsa water.

You can probably remove the flotation panels, but I think the shoulder straps remain padded as hell. Might not be too comfy with a rucksack, depending on how you wear/load/carry it.

If they run out before I can buy one, I'll just pay the extra $230 and buy the LBT one.
