TM (Tokyo Marui) guns are probably the cheapest and the most reliable. You don't get all the features and upgrade potential of other brands but they're the best for someone on a budget.

The TM AUG would be a good field gun. It's only as long as an M4 but has a barrel longer than an M16 I believe because of it's design. If you want it for CQB I would suggest a TM P90 TR. VERY manuverable for CQB and it comes with a silencer so you could put an M4 length tight bore or even longer extending into the silencer and even have a decent field gun. I've also heard the TM AK47 is a good gun but I'm not drawn to it in any way. The pistol grip on it is butt ugly.

Another gun I ould recomend besides a TM would be a CA (Classic Army) M15A4. You can get it as an M4 or an M16. This gun comes with a metal body and is very solid and attractive, especially over TMs. I think this gun would be a better bet. Just so much nicer than a TM but not too much more money.

To be honest i dont know, it all depends on what can fit me cause i guess you would call me a "skinney." So that limits the gun length (no M16s or other long guns) and the vests i can buy, but theres no way in heel im payin more than $400 for a gun.

I would highly recomend the CA M15A4 for you then. For CQB you could get the collapsable stock version or one with a full stock to hold a larger battery. Stock this gun has a damn good ROF on a 7.2Volt battery. Believe me.

If you really don't care about metal, like I said, you could get a TM AUG or P90 TR if it's mostly for CQB.

I'm 100% sure the carry handle of the CA is removable and I don't see why it wouldn't be on the TM as well.

Tokyo Marui just came out with a new M4A1, and they fixed a lot of the problems, like barrel wobble, etc. Carry Handle mount is removable. TM or CA are you're best bets.

Go for the new TM, or CA m15a4 if you want metal.

And you're suppose to say the full name before you put in the acronym.
IE: Tokyo Marui (TM), not TM (Tokyo Marui)

I had a TM, i sold it for a CA. My TM had bad barrel wobble, i was terrified to dive on the ground in fear of breaking it in 2. The CA is rock solid, like a real M4 almost.

since you mentioned that you dont like long aeg's and according to you, you are "skinny". i would recommend a TM XM177E2 it is the lightest gun i've ever handled with the same capabilities and functions as the regular TM M4. dont worry about the barrel wobble because you can correct it using chamber block. a TM P90TR, just change the inner barrel to an M4 barrel. same range as M4 but it has the campactness and not very heavy compared to other aeg's in the market. TM Colt CAR15 is also a good aeg.

i would highly recommend TM because of its toughness.

personally, i like light aeg's because i'm more of an assault type of player wherein i move a lot from places to places. imagine carrying heavy aeg with that kind of playing style you will easily lost your energy by crawling, running, etc....for me the lighter you are the more kills you can gain in a game because of your mobility and of course SKILLS which will come in handy as you play along and learn from other guys that's been playing longer than you are.

good luck and enjoy playing airsoft.

or you could go with the full metal SRC's

but if you want to get them to shoot powerfully you will have to upgrade..
