    120 Belgian Paratroopers jump on Metz: Bitche, France, 10th February 2006. Belgian Paratroopers from the 3rd Battalion (from Tielen, Belgium) had the opportunity to make an operational training jump near Metz today. The airfield of Dieuze was chosen as a landing zone and, in a cold, grey morning, 120 Paratroopers executed their jump. They then joined the Bitche Training Area 80 Km east of Metz, where they deployed in the vicinity of the 550th German Panzer Pionier Company and the 292nd German Panzer Jδger Battalion. All these units are subordinated to the NATO Response Force (NRF) Brigade for the Live Exercise part of Brilliant Ledger. Brilliant Ledger prepares the Land Component package of NRF 7. A Command Post Exercise (CPX) will follow this live exercise part, until the 28th February.
