Yes... Tankers. But tankers from Waffen SS. There were units Waffen SS Grenadier, Panzer, Panzer-Grenadier, Kavallerie... It was Waffen (Weapon) SS - Army (war) units...

Dude, believe me... Those three are members of tank units of the Heer, not the Waffen-SS. Take a closer look at their uniforms..
Yes, they also had another type of eagle on their hats (one with a skull), but also another type of skulls on their collars.
As has been pointed out, there are three pictured members of the Heer mixed into the above posts. The most obvious clues are indeed the breast eagles, the cap eagles and national cockades...
As the SS expanded, the Panzerjacke they were issued also had a subtle redesign and was cut in a manner that differentiated it from its Heer cousin, this was as a result of them starting their own procurement and manufacturing processes (the forced labour of Dachau and Ravensbruck KZ spring to mind here....)
With regard to the quoted comment, SS Panzer troops wore the runic tab on their lapel with their corresponding rank tab (not skulls) with the obvious exception being the "Totenkopf" Division.

Hey men! You are mistaken!
Read documents and books. Specially for you. Look at my photos... The Pass of Waffen SS. Man served in Air Force (Luftwaffe), Army (Wermaht) and then in tank units (Panzer Grenadier). He was the Hauptman.... and Rottenfuhrer in Waffen SS Panzer Grenadier Ausbildungs Bataillon. The stamp (inkpress) has inscription - Waffen SS in top and 7./SS Pz Gren Ausb Btl 10 in bottom. Look at date 08.08.44.
And more... Look at the letter... Same... The stamp (inkpress) has inscription - Waffen SS in top and SS Pz Gren Ausb u Ers Btl 10 (Panzer Grenadier Ausbildungs und Ersatz Bataillon) in bottom.
And more... The skull-cockade on Uniform cap and skull-signs on buttonholes (collar)... Yes, different... Big and small... But they have same Waffen SS uniform. And tankers plus had more special uniform... Look at SS-Obersturmfuehrer Michael Wittmann. We know: German Panzer ace Michael Wittmann was the most famous tank commander in World War II, destroying 138 enemy tanks and 132 anti-tank guns with his Tiger. We can see Wittmann in Waffen SS uniform and in special tanker uniform...
And more... SS-Obersturmfuehrer Willi Hein SS-Panzerdivision "Wiking"... Next photos...
Panzer units are Waffen SS...
