    A little off-topic, but one of the least known facts of WWII was the presence of, wait for it, Chinese soldiers in Germany's side in the European theater. According to the highly respected writer and WWII historian Raymond Cartier, there was a Chinese contingent in France, among many other nationalities.

    Haha...it sounds interesting.
    I can see he's pretty happy with his unit.
    Just wanna raise a question,citizenship will be give to the guy who hv served in foreign legion for 5 years?

    its not citizenship, its some what like the 'green card' in US.

    No it's citizenship. They can apply for citizenship after five years, or if they're wounded in action.

    A lot of chineses who enlist in the FFL eventually volunteer to become FFL cooks...just as romanians try to become clerks and englishmen always want to go to the 2°REP.....one of the FFL's facts of life

    , I was watching a documentry a while back on the FFL, and they had 2 Irish guy's in it, including a jungle warfare instructor, who seemed to have watched Apocolypse now a little too much
