How fast can you change your magazine (and in what weapon of course...)?

No longer than 5 seconds with my glock 19 w/o mags in pouches.

Takes me 24 seconds to strip the gun to slide, barrel, inner barrel, recoil rod, frame, mag, and put it back together =O

I don't think that is fast though, I'll have to try again some time, lol

Yeah i havent timed myself with the arisoft Armalites, butwith the real one it takes about 4 seconds to unload, dump the empty mag into my cargo pocket, and take out another one, insert it, hit the bolt catch, and get some.

Reloads are my specialty. With my SOE dump pouch, my M4 is reloaded in under 5 seconds, thats with the mag out in the dump pouch, and a new one in ready to go.

Never timed myself, but I'm guessing for M4/M16 I can reload in 4 seconds an under.

Remove empty mag, put it in left cargo/thigh pocket, load new mag, hit bolt catch an forward assist.

It only takes me about 5-7 seconds to with my mp5. The mags don't just click in really easily, you have to put the mag in the magwell and then hit the bottom of it to get that final, satisfying click.

They seem as though they would, i don't personally own any and i'm not even sure if they make them for the mp5 but even if they do i wouldn't get them because i just have a few crappy star mags.

Sometimes, makes it a bit easier to take the mag out, especially if the mag pouch is tight an you can't get a good grip on a mag.

Lutz, I'm pretty sure they do make them for MP5 mags.

I don't own real of the rubber magpulls, I just made my own with gun tape an 550 cord.

You shouzld be able to speed change a mag in all types of weapons in about a second...

First if you know your about to change mags, then you already have the spare mag ready, and you just drop the mag in your weapon, and replace it ASAP...

I've timed myself in a Nš 3 stopage, with a pistol, and have done it in under 4 second: I'm talking about when you have a round that didn't eject so it's still in the barrel, and a second round just behind it. With this malfunction you have to first swueeze trigger, noitce that somethings wrong, check your slid, and ejection port, then pulling the weapon close to your face, you lock slide to the rear, drop mag from weapon, then charge weapon three times, once this is complete, you charge new mag into weapon, and charge weapon, and continue to fire... under 3.5 seconds is possible.. I've done it that fast only once...

few seconds (both rifles & handguns) and magpuls really help sometimes. they also protect the bottom of the mags when they drop to the ground.

btw, I'm faster with my AR15 than with my FAL. I hate the AK style mag release of the FAL.

Changing mags is for weenies. Just get a auto-winding 3000 round mag and let it rip all skirmish long.

With my USP Compact, I can do 3 seconds that involves releasing the spent mag, gripping it with my ring and little finger of my left hand, opening up the pistol mag pouch on my belt, withdrawing a new mag and inserting it into the USP, all whilst I still grip the spent mag with my two fingers, and that mag can be stored away when in cover.

Tap RAck bang with the M16 variants lol thats always a fun drill. Its also fun with a double feed and you need to remove the mag and shake the damn rifle so the rounds come out, than yo uget that real bad jam where you need to pull one out with your fingers when 2 are stuck in the chamber.

Anyway you should definatly be able to change mags in under 5 seconds. If i didnt do magazine retention i could probably knock atleast a second off. But i dont like losing mags, espcially in the real deal, they teach us mag retention all the time, so its second nature.
