yeah thats a better idea cause it would at least match my vest cause thats od green
I would paint it just like the M14 that comes in OD. That will keep it simple. It'll look good and be well camouflaged.

Im looking for a Coyote Brown CIRAS.
(all below is as far as i have seen)
Redwolf airsoft is sold out of CIRAS.
The Brittish suppliers do not have package deals, or do not sell adequate pouches etc.
Several American and Canadian dealers do not carry them, or have them out of stock/sold out in colors other than Coyote Brown
Ebay doesnt have them.
What current location sells Coyote Brown CIRAS vests?

go to this link. im using a CB. pretty good stuff.
If you just really want a Molle setup go for the saw box pouches. i would do either 2 or 4 of them they will run between $25 and $40 USD and cover a lot of space on a vest as not to look like you don't have many pouches. Plus they will hold 1 200rd saw box or 2 100rd Nut Sacks, or 6 5.56 mags, or 5 7.62 mags. Your pretty much set then all you need is a couple of cheap knock off pistol mag pouchs and maybe a hydration pouch if you can pull it off with the money you have.
dont know if this is the right thread to post this in, but does anyone know where i can get a 416 for under $200 or when one will be that cheap? thanks
looking and not asking other people to do the work for you?
-200?...Ebay. unlikely
Im a Newbie in almost all meanings of the word. I played some backyard games*GASP* with springer pistols but i was hoping to get more serious about it(buy an AEG, get gear, go to "actual" games).
Now I've studied up and decided to go with a CA Steyr AUG(always had a bit of a thing for bullpup designs) but although the reviews seem good I cant seem to find very many people that use them so I was wondering what your take on my pick is(I haven't actually ordered it yet[I'll wait for your feedback before i actually make the plunge])
In the way of BDUs' I'm a bit lost as well. I was hoping(as I'm not exactly a rich man) that I could get one Vest, Assault pack, and helmet to match all three of the Camo patterns I intend to buy eventually(woodland, UDP/ACU, Desert[probably in that order]). I was thinking black but I've heard that black looks stupid with desert so maybe OD?
Ps. at some point i do intend to get a phantom kit for the AUG
Pss. also if you do think the AUG is okay about how many spare mags(lo cap) should i get
Psss. also what kind of scope should I get, or perhaps I should get a red dot? I think I'd prefer a scope so i can do that sniper assist/Spotter thing but your the experts
Pssss.(getting ridiculous aren't I) My budget is rather small so please keep that in mind with your suggestions

Howdy,
Ah someones decided to go with a bull-pup, good on ya, its nice to see other people have interests in different weapons then your regular m-forgery/m16.
I have not seen a CA Steyr, I live in Canada and I can only assume they are not as popular here. With that said, I have seen lots of TM aug's (not military black versions, I heard the scope sucks on the "military green" version) in Canada. They are quite effective due to there longer barrel lengths and are more silent due to the motor mechbox being in the buttsock (literally). How-ever I have noticed some Aug user's have problems hearing people call there hits, this is due to the motor being close to there head (not usually intetionally doing it).
Another thing that should also be taken into consideration is that augs are very "field strippable". I have a friend who owns a few AEG's, and he rents them out to people interested in playing. There has been a few times when the "magic button" is pressed and the gun falls apart in two pieces. Maybe there is another aug user that can expand on this more, as I am only familiar with Ak's really.
Well your bdu's should generally match your terrain, a good all around choice would be OD greens. These are readily availible at every surplus store mostly, and works everywere when dirty. As for your kit, I would lay off anything black. I believe aug mags *should* fit in m16 pouches, so if your really cheap you can get an od alice setup and od helmet and your set.In the way of BDUs' I'm a bit lost as well. I would reccomend 6-8. Aug mags can be a hard to find thing in Canada, not sure about the states though.Pss. also if you do think the AUG is okay about how many spare mags(lo cap) should i get
None for your first two years playing. I always encourage newbies to learn marks-manship even though its a bb gun. You really dont need fancy optics (your on a budget right?), once you use the gun enough you become "accustomed" to what it can and it cant do and its second nature. Its just a gucci thing all the m4 guys like to circle jerk over and really hinders new players playing abilities. Simple rule with airsoft K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Stupid. Electronic devices will fail, batteries die, not operate properly ect ect. Its best not to rely on them, as I do not think aug's have back up sites for when scopes/optics are mounted (but hey what do I know, I am bored and feeling bad nobodys answered your questions yet).Psss. also what kind of scope should I get, or perhaps I should get a red dot? I think I'd prefer a scope so i can do that sniper assist/Spotter thing but your the experts
Anways hopes this helps in some way shape or form, or at least attracts drives someone here that can.
you must mean the receiver take-down button, trust me, thats the first thing I'll label in my mind as a do not touch by accident button.
I know the TM version has some iron sights that you can put on instead of a scope but I'm not sure if the same is true for the CA version. I think ill take your advice and hold of buying the scope for at least a little while(although I wouldn't expect myself to last a month before I cave on that)
thanks for the all the tips ßå$tĮТHÏ¿ð
No worries I do what I can.
Just watch that button, you should've seen the look on that guys face when the gun fell apart in his hands.![]()
