What good is a airsoft gun, if you do not have a place to play???
Well,I am going to post 2teams here in the Salt Lake City Utah area. And I am going to reccomend a gear shop here also, complete with web sites.
The first will be the gear....www.opsgear.com based here in the Salt Lake City Metro area, they carry a full line of multicam, plate carriers, vests, and scenerio paintball gear. Although service is pricy, they do have very good customer service and a local walk-in store.
The second is a place to buy guns....www.Hobbytron.com. They are based out of Orem, Utah, and carry Classic Army, and Tokyo Mauri products.
The teams here in Utah are based out of the Tooele, Utah area, and the Salt Lake City metro area. One of the units is called 1st Bn 1964th Inf. (Airsoft). My team offers free gun usage, ammo, and we play out in the west desert of Utah between Wendover and Salt Lake City. We are currently looking for adults, and kids 12-18yrs old. You must sign a waiver of liability to play, and member ship dues is $25.00 a year. Our loaner guns are Tokyo Mauri, and UTG. You can contact me, the unit commander at email@example.com. Requirements for kids 12-18 years old are, they cannot have been convicted of any major crimes, must pass a back ground check, and must stay in school, and maintain a passing grade average and they must not use drugs or alcohol. The adults are required to pass a criminal back ground check, must not use drugs, or alcohol also.
If you are interested in having good clean fun, and interested in the sport of airsoft, drop me a line!!!
If you are living along the Wasatch front in Utah, near Salt Lake City, you might want to check these shops out, because they offer superior service, and carry some top gear and guns... www.tacticalairsoftsupply.com
modulus tactical...these guys have no web address, but for more information, go to www.scorpionairsoft.com.
One of those shops listed above, is my teams sole supplier for high quality G&G guns.
Now...whats a airsoft gun, if you do not have a place to play?
The following teams, are based along the Wasatch front, from Provo, Utah, to Tooele, Utah....
Now, here is a airsoft team, orientated towards the younger crowd...composed of youths in the ages of 15-18 years of age, these guys may not look like a competition based team, but they are working towards it.....the Silent Ghosts.
The Silent Ghosts, other wise known as the 1st Bn 1964th SFG(AIRSOFT) was formed early in 2007, and targeted especially towards the youth population in Tooele and Salt Lake counties.
The team, has currently around 8-10 members, and are always trying to recruit more. To play on the team, youth members first must have a passing grade point average in school, and has a very hard no grades, no play policy. They must not be into gangs, drugs, or alcohol, or any type of criminal activity.
The team is also seeking adult players, to work with its youth orientated team. To be a senior member of the Silent Ghosts, the adult must pass a credit and back ground check. (this is done to insure the safety of our junior members.
All team members must play a minimum of 5 games, before earning the coveted maroon beret. During this time, members are instructed in tactics, basic first aid, land navigation, AND leadership. Upon the 5th game, there is a graduation ceremony in which the new members must fight their way out of a intense ambush.
Allow me to introduce an airsoft gear website, all stuffs are at ridiculous low price plus unconditional global free shipping. I just bought some stuffs and will share to you guys tomorrow http://egoairsoft.com
