Kopassus = special forces from the army
Kopaskha = special forces from navy
Koppasandha = special forces from air force

    not entirely accurate

Kopaska: Komando Pasukan Katak: Naval Special Warfare Unit
Kopaskhas: Komando Pasukan Khas: Airforce SOF
Koppasandha: Obeselete, former name of Kopassus

tontaipur is somekind of intelligent in combat area,

"Tontaipur sebagai mata dan telinga brigade mempunyai tugas pengumpulan keterangan dengan jalan pengintaian, penyusupan ke daerah lawan, interograsi, wawancara, mencari keterangan di daerah operasi untuk kepentingan taktis tempur."
as an eye and ear of the brigade, tontaipur have a duty to gather information with intelligent way, infiltration behind the enemy lines, interrogation, interviews, and gather all other information for the use of tactical combat

while tontaikam is to defend our resources from enemy's intelligent..
tontaikam is defence, tontaipur is offence. in practice, tontaipur practices to infiltrate area with tontaikam defence on it.

    correct me if im wrong..

Care to explain more about this pic? Whats the story behind it? BTW there is no such Airforce known as Royal Singaporean Airforce. Correct name is the Republic of Singapore Airforce (RSAF).

    thanks for crrecting me..

if you see the small island where the red line starts, it is singapore. Singapore and Indonesia have agreement for airforce that Singapore could use Indonesia's north sumatran island (small island) which is located the left side of Singapore. but in the picture, you see the red line are in the right side of Singapore.Yellow line is the border between indo and spore.

there is another picture, but this one is not identified. even if its identified, its not released to the media

if you see the blue line, it start from sea and end in sea...
and theres no a single country in south east asia that have aircraft carrier.

i hope it explain a little bit..im sorry if there is mistake, coz i got the info from indonesian forum.

I think the best anti terror unit in Indonesia/SEA is still Detasemen 81 Gultor (Kopassus). Gultor has more success stories than other anti terror unit in In SEA. From the Woyla hijack, Scientis kidnapped by Kelly Kwalik (Papua), to secret mission, like deep infiltration in papua new guinea to stop arms smuggling by australian to OPM, it all has done well by Gultor.

Detasemen 88 is still young and unexperienced. How they handle situation in Dr.Azhari raid in Batu, show that they weren't professional enough. If Gultor handle the mission, I'm sure Dr. Azhari will catched alive and not even a single bullet will shooted.

legally its wrong to shoot them..
but morally, id prefer those terorist died with bullet rather than in court.
coz as you know that most of the population are moslem, that makes the possibility of having extrimist higher than other countries. and court could be affected by protest, complaint and situation outside. for example there a terorist that sentence in Bali for only life sentence, before the protest outside..he got death sentence..
sorry if im too harsh, i just want to get rid of people who kill innocents people...
