Thanks for the pics Johannes and fcasearn!To be precised, that's SS1-R5. R5 is the Raider version of V5 (i.e. carbine version of SS1). Frankly, I don't see any difference between V5 & R5.
Anyway, this is the first time I have ever seen R5 with picatiny rail & an optic sight. Also the first time the Raider wearing the armor-vest with US woodland camo (make them look like the Thais or Filipinos)...
Sources on internet says that the SS1-R5 is a lighter and slimmer design without sacrifiying high accuracy. Designed for special forces operations such as infiltration and short distance contact in jungle, mountain, marsh, sea and urban warfare. SS1-R5 can be attached with bayonet and various types of telescopes.
