It wasn't available during Aceh operation, was it ?
Otherwise it would be a widow-maker to the GAM guerillas.

So, supposed there will be a plane hijacking tomorrow somewhere in Indonesia. The big question is: who/which CT unit Cilangkap is going to send for the rescue operation ?....

This is what happens if so many generals from all three services of TNI love to play Counter Strike games...

Default Den Bravo '90 (part 1)

Some public relations pictures of Den Bravo '90.
This is the youngest & the least popular of many TNI's CT units. They belong to the Air Force. Bravo means The Best. 90 is the year (1990) they were officially established.
Some of their top brass have claimed that Den Bravo '90 should be the first choice for any counter terrorist operations related to any aircrafts.

Enough saying, just enjoy the pics. Source: Commando/Angkasa.

    Another HK MP5 customer.

The shoulder insignia. The bottom one is the Korpaskhas'.

Den Bravo '90 is under the AF's Korpaskhas. They claim they are the best combat parachuter among TNI.

Nevertheless, marine commando skills come from the Navy's sister, Kopaska.

The orange beret (actually belongs to Korpaskhas), commando dagger, insignias & commando wing.

Default Den Bravo '90 (part 2)

The Alpha 3 Team: specialised in CT operations.

The tires-house is their 2nd home.

Closed Quarter Combat practising is a daily menu.

They claim they are the best in hostage rescue operations for aeroplanes hijacking.

The skills come from Korpaskhas basic training.

Default Den Bravo '90 (part 3)

    One of the operators.

Korpaskhas/Den Bravo '90 is one of the few TNI units who still operating the Scorpion pistol machine in large number.

    The Alpha Teams.

They are the only CT unit who use Land Rover Defender Td5, custom built.

Are you sure it is the Denjaka logo on their caps?

    Looks different:

    Sorry, my mistake.
    The top one: Marines' Taifib.
    The bottom one: Navy's Denjaka.
Anyhow, most likely the personnel are the same.

Was it something PTDI (IPTN) seriously consider to do or just something on their wishful thinking list? I imagine it'd take serious modification to strengthen CN235's structure (two Vulcans? wow!). Nice idea though.
