sorry but i have to correct that it's not "anti terror" but "counter terror". Anti terror means to prevent terrorism from happening, that means it's the inteliigence's job That's why KOPASSUS' Den 81 is called GULTOR (Penanggulangan Teror - Counter Terror).

Anti terror is a system to prevent (before it happens) & to counter terrorism (after it is happening). AT covers intelligence, resources, procedures, coordinations, CT, etc.

The Hukbong Kawal Pandagat ng Pilipinas (HKPP) is one of the most loyal armed forces unit to the government. One of their important job is actually to provide security to the President & VVIPs.
Money and corruption. We were suppose to have it though.

Actually if you're talking about VIP protection, the Presidential Security Group takes care of that.

And yeah, need help on the difference between the BTR-50 P and the BTR-50PM (Major/minor differences, if any)? Thanks guys.

Unless you have proof of this, your an idiot! Before mouthing something off like this next time check your facts or else you are gonna get called out. I'm not going to go into detail here since this is an Indonesian Armed Forces thread. Suggest read more about the Capability Upgrade Program (Horizon 1-3) also the situation of the AFP wherein it is only allocated .9% of the GDP while fighting and insurgency.

I'm not really sure, but let me try.

In 1962 the marines started to receive BTR-50PK (Ukraine version of russia's BTR-50P with protection hatch on top of troop compartment). Due to lack of spare parts from its origin country after the fall of Soekarno, BTR-50PK were upgraded into BTR-50PM (PM=Palawa Modification).

    The modification consist of :
    1. Russian V6 diesel engine replacement with US GM 6V-92T diesel.
    2. RT 10 Radio comm replacement with US ANVRC 64 and PRC 33 for air support.
    3. Main gun PKT replaced with FN GPMG 7,62 mm.

Soon MoD R&D in cooperation with PT. PINDAD retrofitted BTR-50PM.
They modified front design of the vehicle (similar to PT.PAL AFV front design and changes on lower front bow-vane), several functional modifications on rear design (heat exchanger grill, sling roller, closed exhaust, track link additional sprocket), additional top hatch for commander and troops for better movement and not to forget the air-con. They also add IR light and night vision binocular, GPS, intercom and electrical system.

Pindad Produksi 40 Panser Tahun 2010
Departemen Pertahanan Sedang Bahas Masalah Alutsista
    Senin, 14 Desember 2009 | 03:41 WIB
”Kepmenkeu diharapkan keluar awal tahun 2010.
(bay)

Cool video & awesome salesmen from HK.

That video shows again the advantage of HK's patented short-stroke gas piston system, applied on both G36 & HK416.

More pics below, more Denjaka & more HK rifles (hope it's not repost, source: Internet):

Default When we will have this?

This is a Sprut SD 125mm light tank, based on BMP3 chassis ( So i think the Marines will hv no probs with the maintenance, since they already hv BMP-2 and BMP 3 soon ) far superior than PT-76
Capable to be air dropped, amphibious, and deadly...
About 100 unit will be surely enough hehehe [IMG][/IMG]
