these seem to be copies of the G-3 civvie version, made in france if I am not confused...
Ok, info is minimum about Iran, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabian g-3.
G-3 is the german designation of a spanish assault rifle developed by german engineer Ludwig Vorgrimmler in the 50's called CETME.
Basically the CETME was a spanish thing invented by a german who based his design on the Stg 45.
From what I've read, recievers for G3s were produced in Pakistan (POF), Iran, Turkey, Greece (Emco?), England (RSAF Enfield), and France (Manuhrin) ( also Norway?). They were also license produced in Germany by Rhinemetall (sp?).
This link contains some pic's of the version made in Sweden.
Springfield Armory made Hk 91 clones built from Greek recievers IIRC. I know I've seen SAR-48s with Greek recievers, and they were all semi-auto, again IIRC.
Iran makes a copy of the G-3, and here is a link to the company that makes it for them:

P.S. When I tried the link just now, it did not work. Perhaps it will be back up in a couple of days.
Read my sticky and use the search feacility/Google etc.!!!Originally Posted by konkurs
