Yeah I also heard they could only fly at night? Maybe they got some adjustments to have them work during the day as well.

Btw. brabo here is a high res picture of the same vehicle but with ISAF troops on it. So not commandos but still a decent pic.

Most of our vehicles have had a mud bath, less bothersome than painting and easy to reapply or remove.

and cheaper... also with the green background you can remove stripes of mud and get a nice break up...

About the Cougars. Those are not shields but inflateables to survive water landings iirc.

There are some MB's from Afghan driving around the OTCMAN these weeks with marines and KCT. Those MB's were painted sand colour, but you can really tell it was done in a hurry.

Nope I think I got it of the ISAF website, not sure though. I only discovered it today, must have saved it sometime last week in an inebriated state. But seeing there is another one in the same folder with Jaap de Hoop Scheffer on it, it would make sense.

and i know the commando's tested new gloves in afghanistan last year with mechanix on top. does any body captured those on film?

a good day for the army
45 pantserinfanterie battallion "Regiment Oranje Gelderland" has been reactivated, the banner holds honors dating back as far as the Napoleontic wars!
