that's the replica of the Amsterdam not the Prins Willim.
the Prins Willim was an older style replica,

    but unfortunately due to this:

the Prins Willim won't be there on sail 2010.....

I know, but unfortunately sometimes they get stuff like that (on the defensie website) wrong..

This is the ship in the picture

This is the prins willim (aka prins willem):

    Found this today: http://www.defensie.nl/missies/nieuw...hanistan_video

The article describes the use of parachutes by the Dutch in theatre for the first time since 1949. The commando's inserted this way, because it was impossible to move to the location on foot or vehicles without being spotted.

when and where did you post it, I can't seem to find it

second of all, it's not a repost since you are linking a completely different article about the same thing but with footage that the Volkskrant doesn't have

(apologies to the non-Dutch speaking/reading for it being in Dutch, don't have time to translate at the moment)

I think Defensie should count its blessings. 300 milion is a far cry from the billions that were mentioned not to long ago.
