    Yeah, good pics indeed!

We look really wel equiped over there. I hope the mission will succeed as planned. With as less casualties as possible. I heard Kamp yesterday on Nova about the situation and that in the province of Kandahar we are now also active.

It's getting better, A Compny, 11 Infbat (Para) who are getting deployed to Afghanistan in October is all ready equiped with: aimpoints, flex sights, grips, light etc for their C7A1

And I also heard rumours that we (B Company) who are the only Dutch Infantry unit in the newly formed European Battlegroup
    are getting the C8A1

For this mission it was allowed again because a beard is considered a positive thing by the Afghani's.

That's a good thing, we are kinda behind with all the extra's and all that on the weapons. The Canadians and their A2's are nice... However I dont like the adjusting C8 stock on the C7 that looks weird. I suppose it works well cuz it shortens the length of the weapon but then again you could also use the C8. I allways thought the LMB para's also had C8's cuz of the parachuting...

But the rails and the lights, lasers, grips especially are very handy.

Now all we need are the CV90's instead of the old YPR's and were done.

and more troops, at least one extra army brigade and one marine battallion

preferably more so that we can have 2 functional divisions (1 mechanized and 1 joint light division with the rnlmc and the amb) but then we all need to vote christenunie for the money
