I'll vote either VVD or CU. I'm moving in the direction of the CU though. They have some solid statements regarding defense as well.

On Afghanistan

De ChristenUnie steunt de Nederlandse deelname aan de militaire missies naar Afghanistan. De Nederlandse militairen nemen zowel deel aan de ISAF-wederopbouwmissie als aan Operatie Enduring Freedom. De Nederlandse militaire aanwezigheid is belangrijk in het kader van de strijd tegen het internationaal terrorisme.

On Defense:

Het Nederlands defensieapparaat moet op een zodanig niveau worden gebracht en gehouden, dat ons land een bijdrage kan leveren aan vredeshandhaving en vredesoplegging. De vergaande bezuinigingen op Defensie bemoeilijken deze doelstelling. De ChristenUnie pleit daarom voor verhoging van het defensiebudget. Ook moet er een structurele voorziening komen om defensiematerieel dat tijdens missies verloren gaat te kunnen vervangen.

On Peacekeeping/enforcing:

Nederlandse deelname aan een VN-vredesmacht geschiedt alleen wanneer die vredesmacht wordt ingezet voor het handhaven van vrede en na goedkeuring van het Nederlandse parlement. Operaties die tot vrede dwingen worden, na goedkeuring door de VN, bij voorkeur door regionale organisaties uitgevoerd.

The major downside of this party is the conservative view regarding euthanasia, abortion, soft drugs and their rather social view regarding immigrants.

But let's not get into politics in here.

The new health insurance plan from that b*sterd Hoogervorst (VVD) reduced my nett salary about 5%, so much for their promises that no one will be cut in their income...
