Shame, each vehicle or helo represents at least one guy all ready dead or just about to.
Take a closer look, It seem that some BRDM`s engenies have been witdrawn.
Is there an oficial and final victims toll? Although it was tragic, all pictures from Chernobyl are kind of intriguing.
Is it possible that the people employed to dump these machines were using protective gear, or were these dumped while vacating the areaOriginally Posted by Wolfpack
no. it wont be.Is there an oficial and final victims toll? Although it was tragic, all pictures from Chernobyl are kind of intriguing.
a lot of people dead far away from chernobil, but still it was the reason.
not all of the people who worked there are dead, but some people who never were their are dead because of chernobil
Not quite. The first responders and the conscripts who extinguished the fires had little protection, some little more than dustmasks. Those working on the roof on the reactor where rotating on 15 minutes shifts to minimize exposure, but it wasn't enough. Some of them registered 800 times the prescribed maximum dose of radiation for a lifetime...Originally Posted by abhijit

Those images are creepy...
There's pics from that woman who rode through on her bike a few years ago. You can see buildings evacuated in a hurry, all sorts of items, toys etc. strewn around.
Here's a good site with plenty of info about the accident and its consequences.

Chernobyl is in Russia. Back in 86 I believe, the nuclear reactor melted down and exposed the core to the atmosphere. Hundreds, if not thousands died. Some immediatly, most over time due to extreme radiation poisioning.
It's like sceens out of that Bruce Willis movie 12Monkeys. Just damn creepy...
Damn is it that hard to use google if you are not sureChernobyl is in Russia.
