On February 6 to 15, 2008 the units of POLUKRBAT are involved in the training exercise code-named "DECISIVE AUGUSTUS EAST", aimed at practical testing of various situations in case the independence of Kosovo is announced. The soldiers perform VCP (Vehicle Check Point), MEDEVAC (Medical Evacuation), IO (Information Operation) and QRF (Quick Reaction Force).
Battle Team "C" stationed in Wazi Khwa has just came back from a successive night patrol. This time it went into the Ghwastah region - one of the most dangerous regions of the Paktika province.
