it depends on what capacity ammo box you have. I can't remember the numbers in the small box. I want to say about 40 rounds, and the large is around 60, but you can jam more in there if need be. I haven't touched one for a year and a half, so my speculations could be off now. It is a great weapon if you have the skill to control it off the TnE. However, it does not have good penetration power for solid buildings. It is primarily an anit-personnel weapon. It will penetrate vehicles with ease though. I could go on and on about how much fun it is.
sorry i lost track of the question, but a guesstimate would be around 30-40lbs for the small, and 50-60lbs for the large
****. I watched that entire clip hoping theyd shoot the donkey with the mk19
what a let-down.
Cool video.
As for the weight question. This site says each 40mm round is approx. 8 ounces (half a pound). So take the number of rounds in the box and divide by two for the weight in pounds.
Its pretty much only for mounted use, where wait of the ammunition isnt as significant. As to its capabilities, they vary significantly with the ammunition being used.
I'm with Bad Karma on that one! I was just waiting for that mule to end up as a hambuger patty!
Nice video...Don't wanna hijack the thread, but here is another video from 'the war tapes'
