    IMI Negev user manual

Folks does anyone know if there's a on-line version of the IMI Negev english manual? Having only a hebrew version doesnt help us a bit with maintenance Or at least if anyone gotta spare copy of this little blue book please help... we'd gladly buy it.

This looks very like the original version of the Minimi - is there any similarity in construction/operation?

Construction wise the Negev seems to be optimised better for changing between magazine and link operation. The magazine housing is underneath the weapon in a conventional layout, and the packs that hold the link clip right into the housing - there's no jauntily angled magazine as per the Minimi. I've read that the Negev has a very short top cover to facilitate reloading in the back of APC's and other confined spaces.

I've never fired it, so I can't comment on the operation of the system.

And I can hardly compare the other way, having only played with Minimi and MG4 for a while, just changing the barrel etc, sadly never shot it. I guess pretorian669 once said a word on comparision between Minimi and Negev. Main diffrence for me is that you have a selective fire switch on the Negev and the dual feed option is quite diffrent than in FN.
