Yes it is, same rule aplays to block 30/32 and 40/42.Originally Posted by Resurrection
You might find interesting that only block 50+/52+ can carry CFT when standard 50/52 can't.
Great pictures...I have seen some in RAPORT WTO but these are much more better.
At last we're going to have really modern planes to fly.
Otherwise, MIG-29 isn't bad plane, but to air combat in close distance![]()
Regards,
Are you sure or just arguing with me? Polish F-16 has ALE-50 Towed Decoy System, Greek has not.Originally Posted by flanker7
Nope, LATRIN is something totally different then Lockheed Martin Sniper XR.Originally Posted by flanker7
I don't understand - you have them for 2 years or there are on the way? Last time when I was reading about JDAMs for Greece, US refused to sell them to you.Originally Posted by flanker7

What a beauty!.
As for getting some used to replace the Su-22s maybe we should get some upped A versions from the Israelis, or from USA through FMA.
Well, It is not so fancy nowadays, there is Sniper and Lightening you know. But it still slightly improves performance of aircraft carrying it.Originally Posted by flanker7
According to f-16.net your air force has 24 AAQ-14 and 16 AAQ-13 to use on 130 F-16s (40 bl30, 40 bl 50, 50 bl 52+) and you will receive additional 10 with 30 new bl 52+ (not specified, probably sets AAQ-14 + AAQ-13). That's not much. As you can see we receive 36 pod to be used on 48 aircrafts.
This pods can be very useful at bad weather conditions or low altitude flying, if US don't wont to sell them to you maybe you should buy some Israeli Rafael Lightening pods.
Good for you, you may need them.Originally Posted by flanker7

Hell no, I really don't think that old, Israeli F-16 are capable of flying, they sped a lot of hours in the air and surly need overhaul (costs), besides Israeli F-16 are heavily moded so they probably haven't a single part common with our bl 52s.Originally Posted by daily666
If you are talking about some block 10 A/Bs found in the middle of the desert then no, this things can't carry AMMRAMs or LANTIRN so they are worth less then ours MiGs.Originally Posted by daily666
If you are talking about some C/Ds bl 30/32 then yes, i would be a good solution but:
- don't know if our US friend have any spare F-16C/D and even if the have, if the would sell them to us for reasonable price
- tease aircrafts probably would need overhaul
- Americans wont give us working aircrafts for free (they are not Germans)
If I remember well around 2010 US will use only bl 40/42/50/52, all older C/Ds (bl 25/30/32) will be transfered to NG or Reserve.
The solution I like the most is to gain used F-16 AM/BM from European F-16 users. Not so long ago Jordan has bought 20 Belgian and Dutch F-16 A/B MLU for only 10 million $ a pice, tease are AMMRAM and LANTIRN capable aircrafts after Falcon-Up (capable of spending 4000h in the air without overhaul). Belgium still have 16 F-16 MLU for trade.

I like this modernisation, F-4s with radar from F/A-18 and up to date avionics can be realy nice interceptor.Originally Posted by flanker7
