    Red face SAS Amatola

    A friend of mine in Nigeria recently sent me these three pics of South Africa's new corvette/frigate (don't ask ).

    Afraid I don't know much about the ship itself, except that it was designed in SA and constructed in Germany (I think), and that the missiles cost R23 mil each (roughly $3.5 mil each)

    The Valour class are frigates, no matter what anyone says, a modified German Meko design. The anti-air missiles and some of the electronics are South African, the rest of each of the four ships mainly French and German.
