Thanks! I can't wait to get started. I am having a heck of a time finding both IAF decals and French Navy decals in 1/72 anyone know a good website?

I-Tankman's carrier and Janick's collection bring back a question, I struggled with years ago and made me quit that hobby: Where to/do you store and display all those models?

Well, nevertheless, I have a lot of respect for your skills and patience in detailling your models, guys.

I really like those 1/35 models and dioramas (don't be bothered, aircraft and ship modellers ) but I myself was more into a smaller scale 1/87, so I was pretty amazed, when I found >this site the other day. It lead me to >this guy's site...

I think he does some really impressive work, like..

    ...> this US M3 A2

    ...> German Luchs

...> this M577 with interior details...

    and some more...

Here's how I store mine, just a closet for the vehicles, and a corner for the terrain!

Board, and workbench, I basically get half the basement!

I need a couple more shelves... Not to mention one exclusively for the carrier!

Give your model a wash. A wash is created by thinning a paint with water until it is so thin it runs into the cracks and crevasses of your model. You can also use ink to wash your model but it also needs to be thinned. Just make your washes a darker shade than the base coat to help make the deeper details appear even deeper and more shadowed.
I don't quite understand "washing". Do you paint over the entire model with the thinned out paint or just the crevices? Also, is it easier to paint a model once it is completely put together or should I paint them individually? Also, how does one make the decals less glossy? I'm going over to my local hobby shop today to see if they have anything interesting (most likely a tank or fighter plane). Haven't built any models in ages and when I stopped I still couldn't paint if my life depended on it.
