Actually, being that just about everything in the Army runs on JP8, or diesel, it isn't that much of an issue. If you're hit with something hot enough to ignite diesel, you've got other problems to worry about! Although during my tours in Iraq, I had seen fuel tanks protected with 4 x 4 pieces of wood bound to the fuel tanks...

    Thanks all.

Deadhorse. Thanks for the pics. Yes please send the m113 pics. I would appreciate it.

Triggerhappy. Really nice models you got there. Awesome!

Thekiwi, yes, they are all 1/35 scale. I think it's the perfect scale. Not too small and not too big.

Libertyunites, Thanks for those links. Although I already have them. I'm still would love pics of the turret though taken from above. It seems hard to find pics of the entire view from the top. Again, thanks for all your help. Continue to let me know with either pics or info. Thank guys.

Excellent rust effects on the HEMMT!

Great stuff! I used to make armor models too, but haven't since I no longer have room for a desk, or time, or money, or sanity, or.....

Either way, friggin' great stuff. I assume you go to Missing Linx? If they still exist? An armor builder's site.

Thanks. Yeah, I do visit there once in a while. There is also Armorama.com and LEM. Both wonderful sites.

Here are some of my pic request. If you guys have any reference photos, clear ones , please pass them on to me. Thanks guys:

1.The Norwegian M113 belonging to the ISAF EOD. It has a beautiful looking camoflage

    2. Norwegian M548A1 tracked cargo carriers. Please note that this particular version I'm interested is fitted with a hydraulic crane for handling pallets.

    3. Pics of the Antiligan from above or the top portion. All the ones I have are pics from the sides, ground but not above the hull.

There are a couple but these would be nice to have as I am modelling the Antiligan at this moment. Thanks.

    Another pice modelled.

Okay, here are some pics of my recent build. It's two part build. The tractor and trailer combo. I have just finishing off the tractor part of the combo. Now I made some mistake in the measurements of this tractor which I came to know when I found out when I was painting it. The end part of the tractor where it will connect to the trailer is a little too big. I didn't want to redo this part because it took some time to get it to where it is. So for all you purist, I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to live with it. But I will be more careful on the trailer part.

I also decide to model the engine part according to the one of the pic I found on the net. I tried to get as many angles to get the entire engine compartment to look right but again everyhting may not be 100% accurate. But the look of it says it looks the part

Any way, enjoy the pics. Sorry about the poort quality. I will try again to take much better pics when the trialer part is completed.
