Awesome, I'll do that. This was my first model kit attempt in 12 or so years.

Yeah, I'll drill out the barrels when I get an appropriate tool. I don't want to go buggering around with them until I'm confident I wont break them.

Thanks for all the kind words and advice. I'll do a little more work to her and see what happens.

Looks very interesting from afar. Higher res pic please
My sole air asset - Hasegawa's marvelous 1/48 P-39. I know my colors are off, but being armor geek and not having RAF specific paints I just mixed my own

K-5, that looks real nice, especially the cockpit. I was looking at that kit for awhile, how was the fit and finish?

Indeed, very Nice P-39. A subject that isnt very often seen, especially a lend lease version. Colors look fine, dont worry about rivet counters

The kit's fit and molding quality were fantastic. It only took me Friday night and half of Saturday to finish assembling it.

Excellent work, both interior and exterior. Do you mask your camouflage or paint freehand?

Thanks. I used to apply masks when I was working with my old Paasche airbrush, but ever since acquiring Iwata HP-C couple of yearrs ago I only mask stuff like open compartments, hatches, etc. or if camo on the real subject was applied by brush and has really sharp edges.

It usually is within 7-20psi range. 7 to 9psi is usually enough to make a ****ounced edge with one quick spray when using acrylics. I mostly use Gunze acrylic paints and Italian Lifecolor latex ones for specific country standard shades.
It's been a rainy week, so I finally finished my second 1/48 AC. This is Tamiya's new F-16C blk 25-32 with cockpit set and nozzle coming from Aries. I chose it because of color scheme. These guys sometimes make low flybys for my weekend backyard socials for absolutely zero charge

There were, to my surprise, no reinforcing plates included in this kit, either pre-molded or die cut. Instead Tamiya wants you to by it in a separate PE set, which is useless if you decide to go for resin cockpit, not to mention quite pricey for what is included. Rather dubious move for otherwise great kit. Good thing there is small fret with these plate made by Eduard company; mine is on its way.
