At the risk of sparking another greek-turkish flame war, let me remind you that about 37% of their territory is under foreign occupation since 1974, Lefkosia (Nicosia in English) is the last divided capital of Europe after the Berlin Wall fell, and that occupation forces in the northern part of the Island are offensively deployed. Still, IMHO, Cyprus needs to build an Air Force with kick-a$$ interceptors like the MiG-35 (still called the MiG-29OVT) or Su-35 so as to hold out in case of war, until we can send reinforcements.Originally Posted by Migman
