I use altama's at work for the summer, they are really comfy.
winter I use asolo's, great boots, and a good replacement for my matterhorn

As always I am a big fan of danners...easy to find and good pricing.
Danner Acadias i love so much I have had them re-soled. I am now looking for a more "discrete boot" and have gone to these...sturdy and comfortable...good crossover with civy clothes, ...no long marches yet but i have faith they will be good!

I´m looking for some sort of jungle boots, good for hot and wet imvoirements.
the mendil boots are nice for the heath but not for the wet part, and my leather boots are nice in the winter but too damn hot in the summer.
anybody who hase a sugestion?

I bought a pair of these thinking I would use them when I went to Mtn Warfare in the Alps...I only wore them in garrison...kind of a bad investment right now, but it could turn into a good deal of having bought them...since Danner doesn't list them on the online catalog anymore.
