German Fallschirmjäger wear the bordeaux red beret ( beside other units )
that aint red....its maroon most para units around the world use maroon
in german its called "bordeaux rot" so...little lost in translation eh...no big deal
Egyptian Military Police use a bright red beret,
This is an old one from bright star 82. sorry i couldn't find more recent one online.
so is this one
Also the Egyptian Airborne, they have a more dark, burgundy like one
i will try to post more later
If I were to describe the color of airborne forces berets from around the world excluding Russian, I would have to call them "Maroon" berets, not Red.
Most red berets I know of are associated to military police and not airborne forces.
That is how I see it.
U.S. Army 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment Beret
(Distinguished Unit Insignia) or Unit Crest as its also commonly referenced.
And the beret is maroon lil.
