I liked the contrast between the Canadian and Afghan troops shooting over the wall.

The anchor's comments were dumb, no question about it.Originally Posted by Airborne249

It's a good example of fire discipline when compared to our ANA pals.. (who spray everywhere)

I got pretty lucky with the recruiters I had..... a few mixed messages but if I left Infantry on the application I was told I would have a job offer within a week. True or not I have no idea.
But considering PPCLI needed 364 men at the time (a month ago) I had to at least half believe it.

The video is not working for me. Would it be possible for someone to post it here.
I liked the fact that the reporter didn't hyperventilate like U.S. TV reporters usually do. He was pretty straightforward in his package, sticking to what happened.
Regarding the negative comments of others and speaking as a U.S. citizen married to a woman originally from Afghanistan, I greatly appreciate what our Canadian neighbors are doing in Afghanistan, and extend my sympathies for the loss of every Canadian soldier over there. Thank you very much.
Good job Canda. It's nice to finally see some Candains in action.
