    Squared-away looking guys.

What is that RPG-ish thing in the final picture?

    Thanks for sharing these photographs.

I am curious about the badge used for your icon. Is that the beret badge of the Infantry Fusiliers?

    Thanks,

    ICUS

FN FAL? I'm not sure. Looks similar to the rifles used by the swedish. Can anyone help me & Icarus1 ID it and verify our guess? Nice pics lecable. I seldom see pics from the swiss military. But as expected it looks well trained & equipped.

    FAL? Please...

    It's a SIG 550. Called as Stgw90 (Sturmgewehr 90 = Assault rifle 90)

Some units (Grenadiers, Paras) also use the shorter models SIG 551 and very few the 552.

Standart pistol is the SIG 220 (9mm) called as Pist 75. For more info check my page: www.icarusnet.ch.vu, under "Waffen" are most of the fielded Infantry Weapons.
