Hoping Submarine turns out to be as weird and endearing as I want it to be.

I need help to remember what a movie is called. It's not new by any means. I think it was made in the early 90's. During Dubya Dubya 2. It's about American GI's and Germans. It's winter. And I think it's around Christmas time. And both sides are singing songs in their trenches, and it was a heartwarming story that's all I remember. I think something happened where the Germans and Americans found common ground on 1 night. Any idea what it's called?

    Nevermind, I think I found it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Midnight_Clear
