Looks awesome. I'm prepared to a total disappointment though.

This is George Nolfi's first directing gig, he wrote Oceans Twelve and some other stuff. Screenwriters as Directors is generally a nice thing, but of course can crash and burn with a crappy writer/inexperienced director. I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

Anyone posted the Tron Legacy trailer yet?
Yes, probably a few times by this point.
Holy crap they are making a kane and lynch movie? And why is Jamie fox in it?, in the video game they were both white, and one was baldings with long hair.
I am from/grew up in the neighborhood it is set in. I loved the film, RDJ was at his best.
Very cool, Steelers.
His opening monologue was enough for me, I hope more people see the film.
Yeah, I only had my dad watch it because that's where he grew up. The rest of my family is from the Long Island burbs, but I recommended it to them. My mom actually was the one that had me watch it. I'm not sure how familiar my uncles are with the area, but I'll ask them their thoughts on the movie. I haven't talked to them in a while now. But yes, a lot of movies need to be watched more...
I had an initial problem with the pacing, it seemed jumpy for what it was, but I handle it now as just the way his memory lays it out. There is some exaggeration from the book from what I understand, but the core of the story remains steadfast.
