    On a side note I just finished his Wonderland followed by Kafka on the Shore... I think I need a break from him - I start finding myself lately narrating my life Murakami-style, and it can't be a healthy thing.

    I hope they remain true to the novel.. That's one of my favourites of Murakami
    the chick who played the deaf girl in Babel is Naoko and Johnny Greenwood is doing the soundtrack... I hope it will be good

    Of course. It wasn't my favorite, but it's good. When they do 'Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World', I'll buy a plane ticket to Japan to see it.

    I've seen a couple Murakami adaptations, but I can't say any of them blew me away.

    I only know of 'Tony Takitani,' which I think captured Murakami very well.
