Default Obsession: What The War on Terror Is Really About

"If Loose Change blew your mind, just watch this. This movie explores what all Radical Islamic Extremists, who only make up 10%-15% of the ... all » Muslim population, are really trying to do, and how. You have to see this movie to get a real prespective of the problems we have in the world."

I have to say, loose change wasnt all that impressive. I dont have to go into a point by point rebuttal about it, but listen to this:

If the government did have a conspiracy plot to take down the towers and the pentagon, how do they keep every member or the FBI, CIA, Airline industries, the police department and the fire departments, USSOCOM, and other government prgrams to stay silent about the plot? How do they keep thousands of Americans to keep silent about the issue and not tell it to their wives, who may tell their friends, who's child may over hear and tell to hi/her teach and so on and so forth.

also, If the government wanted to keep a terror plot a secret, dont you think it has the technology to delete a video some 19 year old conspiracy theorist posts on the internet within seconds of its creation? think about it.

I dismiss loose change as, for the lack of a better word, bullshizzle

only 10-15%. So that would mean that one out of ten Muslims are extremist. That's....not good...skeptical about accuracy too..although the people saying it would try to keep the number as low as possible, certainly.

Must have been another poll to determine the percentage.

The radical muslims on their own are not that dangerous.

The danger comes from radical muslims being exploited or used by some countries (muslim and christian and atheist) for their own global strategic purposes.

Those are the ones that openly support it. They haven't mentioned the ones that openly or secretly sympatise with the Jihad.

Just watched the documentary and I have to say: it’s pretty good.

Sure, some stuff is a little far fetched but these kind of movies teach people to think for themselves instead of believe everything their government tells them.

For those of you that say the war on terror is just that – a war on terror: the world is a little more complicated than that.

    In my opinion:

The whole world is run by crooked, corrupt and greedy politicians and the US is no different.

Did the US government plan the 9/11 attacks? Probably NOT.

Is there a lot of people and companies in the US that have profited insanely from the 9/11 attacks? Yes, absolutely – there are thousands of people in the US that owe a great deal of their fortunes to the 9/11. It’s unfortunate, even evil but 100% true.

And if you can’t see the very real possibility that it is within the best interest of many people in the US and the rest of the western world to keep terrorism alive and kicking – you are delusional, ignorant or just brainwashed.

And to say that it’s just a war of good guys vs bad guys is…well…I don’t have the words to explain how childish and just plain stupid that is…

If you believe the world is that simple, you would have believed…

Hitler when he turned Germany against the Jews (if you were a German living in those times)

American media that portrayed blacks as nothing more that irresponsible beings that don’t deserve to be on the same lever and the superior whites. (if you were a white person living in those times)

And you would believe maniacs like Osama and Basayev when they try to turn you against the west (if you were a Muslim living in the middle east)

That’s the reality, most people have a simple “us VS them” mind set and that is one of the major reasons WW2, Racism and Terrorism happen.
