Apparently, my fellow New Zealander liberation has some strong opinions on my ethnicity.
Or at least what he assumes my ethnicity to be.

i do believe that someone addressed this issue earlier last week, RAPE is such a harsh, offensive word, i think something more like "suprise ***" thats it, it doesnt sound so hostile and puts a more gentle twist to it.

Bearing in mind that MP.Net is a virtual community, it never ceases to amaze me what hatred is expressed on these threads.
Here we have an incredibly ignorant and prejudiced attack on Ngati Tumatuenga whose ethnicity is IMO totally irrelevant. In many other cases we experience the age old hatreds of Turk/Greek, Muslim/Jew, German/Pole, Albanians/everybody, Russians/everybody and of course The Balkan Question ... ... ... and these are only for starters.
Speaking as a Scot and one who is damned proud of his nationality, I still fail to understand why so many of our members can harbour such deep seated prejudices, not out of personal experience in many cases, but out of old and hand-me-down bigotry. The same goes for the religious prejudice experienced in some areas, i.e. Catholic/Protestant etc.
Come on guys, put your real world prejudice aside, the is MP.Net a very successful internet community where military affairs are our supposed common interest, stop this ridiculous behaviour and get on together and give us Mods less hassle - remember, it is the subject of this post which probably leads to 80%+ of all banning on MP.net.
I assume everyone here is a 18 year old caucasian male until proven otherwise.
