How was it shot down? Shoulder-fired AA?
It was reported in the Israeli news that it was a jet,probably an F-16.
It was shot down outside Israeli shores.
gunned down or by IR missiles?
what would be the approach speed of the F-16 to line up such a small and slow target?

they said the israeli navy picked up the pieces off-shore, they haven't commented on whether or not it was "armed" vs. observation.

Well since it was flying over the sea,i believe it was filled with explosives,maybe to hit Haifa or even further in to Israel.the U.A.V's range allows it to reach Tel-Aviv even...but can't say for sure of course.

should we still consider them as terrorists or "legitimate" army with terrorist goals? ( by legitimate i mean, organization, structure, communication, UAVs, reconnaissance, raid into ennemy territory and extraction of enemy personnel...)

Not really...A katiyusha rocket capble of doing much greater damage then a U.A.V of this type.And by the reports of I.D.F they got only 8 of them.
More of a scaring tactic.
