ROK troops knocked out by boobytrap in 1969, Vietnam.

    I found this vid.

"This film contained VC's Boobytrap on the road, in 1969. While ROK troops doing [Winning Dragon Op.14th] in 1969, some of damage trucks lying on the road which was located in front of their fire base. When ROK troops tried to get out that trucks, suddenly VC's Boobytrap exploded. So, many ROK troops were dying instantly and wounded a lot."

I'm not native english speaker so my traslation isn't good enough. So, pls understand. Sorry.

The video dosnt show up, its a shame that the N.Korean troops were harmed from a Viet Cong trap, was it accidental or did the Viet Cong just not care who they hit?

I think VC's made that Boobytrap by themselves. Probably, N. Korean troops taught their own skills to make a bomb easily for killing US troops and S.Korean troops.

and I modified that vid file. sorry. it will be run.

    Terrible vid.

The split second between life and death...

There was about 20 soldiers in row standing by. I wonder how many made it alive.

It seems this was a buried arty or dropped bomb under the body of the disabled M-35 that was intended to explode when the recovery crane lifted it up.

The few ROK troops had a very tough reputation in Nam. They hated so much Communism they were very hard at fighting -compared to the regular ARVN- and were feared by the locals. There have been numerous horrible stories and pictures about.
