    Arrow Confessions of a terrorist

A top Army commander has said the arrest of a militant while he was sneaking into Kashmir Valley in Machhil sector near LoC has exposed the nexus involving ISI, Pakistan Army and terror outfits.

"The arrest of Pakistani national and LeT militant (Nissar Ahmed) has exposed the ISI, Pakistan Army and terror outfits in training, arming and psychological indoctrination of Pakistani youth for infiltrating and carrying out acts of terror in Kashmir," Chinar Corps GoC Lt Gen S A Hasnain said in a defence release here.

Black coloured bandanas were popular with the Armoured Corp, riding on the Tank , sand flying all over the place. It was then adopted by PARA SF, the ones they used were made of a thicker cotton cloth not like the thin ones in the pic. They had a cammo print, and was practical from keeping sweat out of your eyes. Next to adopt it was RR who at one time could where what ever they wanted as long as it was operationally convenient.

Regular Infantry at one time was not allowed to wear it. When I was commissioned my unit was in the deserts. We had acquired tan colored bandanas to wear during training exercises etc. But soon there were orders passed down by the Good generals that they are against good military bearing ,so we could not wear it any longer. Couple of years later the same Good generals pass down orders saying how good they are and that every soldier should have it blah blah blah. So now you have it all over the place , with people trying to look like commandos.

It is a cheap and practical piece of kit but when forced everywhere your right it is stupid.

Thanks. Are they being manufactured under license in India or is there any comparable domestic design coming up for production ?
