The Indian Army has now decided to hunt in the international market for a variety of ammunition for the T-90 tanks, including the standard 330 grade ammunition and two other varieties for the T-90 tanks.

BAE of United Kingdom, ?
Bumar of Poland and Yes
Ukrainexport of Ukraine. Yes

The purchase of the ammunition for the T-90 tanks is likely to be done on Urgent basis which would mean that the winners would be selected in the shortest possible time.

Its time someone in the MoD declare the OFB as the common factor in all gun/artillery/ammunition related blacklisting and declare the whole organisation persona non grata. Their build quality borders on the horrible, their design capabilities non existent and have shown next to zero innovation in their products. Also nearly every ex-OFB director is under some sort of criminal investigation and yet they are allowed to retire with grace and all investigations launched only after they have been retired. The 5-6 million rupee retirement fund legally covers all the fees of their legal proceedings. The F-Insas rifle project (rumoured to be based on SAR-21) was going on smoothly till OFB got STK banned. Same with a truckload of other joint developments.

We cannot blame OFB coz some are doing such mess, Same with the army, But what really rotten is the top brasses here with corrupts and dirty politics in these areas adding personal ego wars between cause such problems, Also do you know the home made ammo which was made and rejected due to the charge bag faults, there perpetrator / rods are also ordered for destruction ? latter these rods were found in hands of Naxals, Our home made ammo was very good, I just compared with the specs of polish 125mm rounds which was on offer, And turned out Our rounds was faster, heavy and longer, Now its sad..
