I have watched a few interviews of Air Marshal (R) M S Bawa . He holds a grudge against the Army for getting all the credit for the Battle of Longevala. The Army always gives the Air Force credit for that encounter in 1971. But the media and the movie ''Border'' have portrayed the Air Force in a supporting role. The Air Marshal himself mentioned that J P Dutta wanted to make the movie from the IAFs perspective, but they were not enthusiastic about the project. The Army gave him their full co operation and the rest is history.
If you read the "Dos and Donts" it is clear how bitter he is with the Army. But it did make me laugh, Ack Ack Guns?? He published this book in 2009, but he still seems to be stuck in the 1970s.
